Course Selection Process

The Course Selection will begin Tuesday, February 17, 2009 and ends Friday, March 27, 2009.

The Process is:

  • Registration Fee of $100.00 must be paid.
  • Student picks up his/her course selection paper from Room 101 ( must have their receipt)
  • Student selects courses.

Please Note: At the top of the Course Selection Sheet will be the Track that the student has been recommended for as a result of his/her academic performance during the First Semester. So please make sure that your son/daughter is working to their ability level. Also the Semester Exams are very important since they are 20% of the Semester Grade.

  • Completed Sheets are due in Room 101 by March 27, 2009.
  • Students who pay their registration fee after March 27, 2009 will pay $125.00.

Course Selection Sheets handed in after March 27, 2009 will be dated as to the day received. This will ensure that students who returned their materials on time will have FIRST CHOICE.

Parents, Your Comments are Appreciated

Dear Parents,

I hope this blog serves the purpose of keeping you up to date on the workings of the Academic Affairs Office.
I encourage you to leave your comments. I am very interested in knowing your reaction to GradeConnect. I personally feel that it has made a difference with the students production. Just the increase in the number of students receiving Honors.
Know that you and your loved ones are always in prayer.

Enjoy,
Sister Janet

Grade Connect Comes to KKCHS

The 2008-2009 School Year introduced the entire school community to Grade Connect which is an on line grading program.

The faculty will have one year before it is mandatory to use the entire program. This year all faculty must post comments and the marking period grade on Grade Connect.

Both parents and students were given usernames and passwords in order to set up their accounts.

If you have any problems with your account please contact Sister Janet at 610-275-3997.

Because parents will now have access to their son/daughter grades we will no longer send the Progress Reports/Report Cards in the mail but will give to the students to bring home.
